How to Fix the 'Virus Scan Failed' Error in Ulaa When Downloading Files ?

When downloading files in Ulaa, you might see the error message: “Virus scan failed.” This usually occurs due to a conflict with antivirus scanning. As a workaround, you can resolve the issue by updating the Windows Registry.

Follow the steps below carefully to proceed.

Disabling antivirus protection through the Windows Registry is generally not recommended, as it can reduce your system’s security. This guidance is provided only for troubleshooting situations where downloads in Ulaa fail due to antivirus interference.

To help confirm whether antivirus software is causing the issue, you can try the following steps as a temporary workaround.

Steps to Apply the Workaround:

1. Open Registry Editor: Press Start, type regedit.exe, and press Enter.
2. Navigate to the following path:

3. Double-click on ScanWithAntiVirus. A pop-up window will appear, as shown in the screenshot below :


4. In the Value data field, change the value from 3 to 1, then click OK.
5. Exit Registry Editor.
6. Log off and log back into Windows to apply the changes.
7. Retry downloading the file in Ulaa.
