Site Restrictions – What is it?
Site Restrictions allow organizations to control and manage user access to websites. Administrators can block specific sites to improve security, enforce company policies, and boost productivity. They can also create exceptions to grant access to certain sites when needed.
Example: A company blocks access to social media websites like Facebook and Instagram to minimize distractions at work. However, the marketing team needs access to Facebook for ad campaigns. The administrator adds Facebook to the Exceptions List, allowing only the marketing team to use it while keeping it blocked for others.
If a site is added to both the Blocked List and the Exceptions List, the Exceptions List takes precedence, allowing access.
